Fontaine Roofing and Siding is seeking a full-time experienced roofer to join our team. The right candidate for this position should have a strong work ethic, be highly motivated and goal-oriented, and want to be part of a team environment. Compensation is based on experience.

Personal requirements:

  • Strong work ethic and excellent attendance record
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and know how to keep a clean job site
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are a must
  • Travel to out-of-state job sites (VT and NY) is required

Skill requirements:

  • Experience with installation, repair and replacement of slate, asphalt and metal roofing
  • Knowledge of current construction techniques and proficiency in measurements
  • Must be comfortable with heights.
  • The ability to quickly respond to sounds and recognize and respond to dangerous situations is important.

Licensing requirements:

  • Must have either a valid driver’s license and a good driving record or reliable transportation to and from the shop.
